A bomb risk involving a driver of an 18-wheeler closed down I-85 in Greenville, South Carolina, for a number of hours on Thursday.
The truck driver was taken into custody.

One individual is in custody after an incident involving a suspicious bundle halted visitors for hours on Interstate 85 in South Carolina.
Based on the South Carolina Division of Transportation (SCDOT), the incident prompted a visitors backup close to Exit 44 at White Horse Street in Greenville.
Officers are asking drivers to keep away from this space. As of 5:25 p.m. Thursday, all lanes have been blocked.
Greenville County dispatch stated the incident concerned a tractor-trailer.
Greenville County deputies stated SWAT and Bomb staff members have been referred to as to the scene to help South Carolina State Transport Police following a reported visitors cease simply after 3:30 p.m.
The State Regulation Enforcement Division (SLED) bomb squad and FBI can be helping with this investigation.
“I-85 close to mile marker 44 is quickly closed out of an abundance of warning as a consequence of a bomb risk issued throughout a routine visitors cease this afternoon by SC Transport Police,” Governor McMaster stated. “SCDOT and state legislation enforcement are on the scene, and regular I-85 visitors will resume as soon as the tractor trailer is swept and cleared by SELD’s bomb squad.”
